HoDDie just arrived! We got him settled and he sat and watched some TV with a new friend that my roomie introduced to him. The friend is very quiet and hasn't told me her name yet, so it's just Silent Jill for now. Right now, he's chilling out on my computer desk listening to some tunes and telling me all about his journeys, showing me all the post cards and things. Exciting stuff! He certainly looks riveted. Must have been a good show.

Finally today afternoon HoDDie arrived in Emden, East Frisia - a long way from Penny and UK. He enjoyed to meet me (kat) and his new friend Paule. Before he can watch my home he wanted to sleep. Hi I was advised to get in touch with UNICEF UK before commencing with any event. I received a reply from a lady at the London office and she will be browsing the HODD site. Shes really pleased with the whole idea of the Hoddie project and over the phone even asked me how DD is involved with UNICEF? Hoddie arrived safely in NE (thanks Sonja! ) to a warm welcome. He got out the globe to see where he was, and was helped out by one of the locals. He then spent the rest of the night learning how to play some X-files music on the piano, then went to bed early, as he was quite tired from the long trip.
